Our Dream Team opportunities at the James Island campus are divided into three areas:
Weekend Guest Services
Cafe: This team serves in the Seacoast Café by assisting guests with drinks, coffee, and other food items available for sale.Background check and some training required.
Greeters: Our Greeters welcome people with a smile and make them feel right at home as soon as they step through the doors of Seacoast.
Information Center:This team provides guests with information about all of our current events, ministry opportunities, and services.
Ushers:The Ushers play a key role in orchestrating a smooth weekend experience by assisting guests to their seats and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
Set Up Team:This team arrives early on Sundays to set up the campus.
Tear Down Team: This team stays after service to tear down and pack up the campus.
Technical Production:Bring your creativity and tech savvy to this team as it works to deliver the Seacoast weekend experience via camera, lighting, and sound elements. No experience required.
Worship:The Seacoast Worship team leads others into the presence of God with the use of vocal and instrumental talents. Auditions for student, college, and adult Worship team opportunities are held regularly.
Registration Team:This team welcomes families as they enter the children’s ministry rooms and help register new families. They also assist with dismissal as children are checked out of their areas by parents.
Nursery Team:This team provides loving care and a safe play area for our babies birth-18mos.
2 yr-olds:The Kidscoast leaders in our 2-yr-olds classroom take time to read, hold, hug, and play with our toddlers in addition to offering a snack and storytime.
Preschool Classroom:Members of this team facilitate activities, crafts, and simple discussions with our preschool children in relation to the weekly lesson.
Elementary Classroom:This team engages and challenges our kids 1st-5th grade. We have discussions, activities, and lots of fun, all while reinforcing the weekly lesson.
Won-by-One Volunteer:This is a small team of compassionate, trained volunteers who serve children with special needs and expose them to the love of God.
Kidscoast BackupTeam:This is a team of volunteers who support children's ministry through serving when regularly scheduled volunteers are out for vacation or illness. We couldn't run a Sunday morning without them!
