How do I encourage my small group leaders to share their faith more effectively?

Hey everyone, I just wanna share with you some ideas on how you can grow your small group by reaching out to people who don’t know Christ.

You know, the experts say two things. Number one, is that most people come to Christ on the arm of a friend. And secondly, those same people if they were invited to church, most likely they would come. The question is now how do you do it?

Well, I would make a list of everybody I know and really spend some time doing that. The second thing I would do is – is pray for them. Pray that God will move on their hearts. And then thirdly, I would look for opportunities to deepen my relationship with them so that I could, you know, maybe invite them to lunch, have them over to our house for dinner, or something like that.

The next thing you can do is look for a need that you can meet. And then finally go ahead and extend an invitation for them to come to church or to your small group. We have a tool here at the church, you could actually use your worship guide, just tear it apart, hand it to someone that you wanna go to church. It’s got information on here on how they – how they can do that.

You know, the Bible says to go into all the world and reach people for Christ and make disciples of them. And you know, we know that lost people matter to God. They matter to us here at Seacoast and I know they matter to you. The question you need to ask yourself is who’s gonna be in Heaven because of you? God bless you and have fun reaching out to people.
