What curriculum should I use in my Small Group?

When deciding what curriculum you should go through, I think that it’s very important that you are in tune with what your Small Group really feels is a priority for themselves. What we typically have done within our Small Group in any of those that I’ve either been a part of or led, is we’ve made it available to the group. We’ve said, “What would you guys like to do?” And it’s amazing the subjects that come up.

And so, take a pulse of your Small Group and give them an opportunity. But I think it’s critical to connect with your Pastor. I’m part of the connect team here at the church, and we have tons of curriculum that have already been put in place. There are going to be curriculums that are online. The resources that we have available here in the church are far reaching. I mean, everything from studies for men by Pat Morely and Steven Farrar, to things on married life, you know, such as Gary Smalley and obviously others. But I would connect with your Pastor, talk to them about curriculums and, of course, like I said earlier, make sure that you connect with your Small Group and give them an opportunity to buy into the process, because if you do that, they’re going to be excited about what it is that you’re studying. And that’s the way that you get success in regards to your curriculum.
