Doug McGarity , Campus Pastor & Life Group Coordinator
Doug was born in Missouri, but lived in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona; Chicago, Illinois; and Houston, Texas before moving to Savannah. Doug has a BA in Bible from CBC and was a Youth Pastor in Tucson and St. Louis before becoming Senior Pastor at churches in Chicago and Houston. He also was a high school athletic director and coach for 10 years. Doug came to Seacoast in 2004 to launch the Savannah Campus. Doug and his wife, Dee, have four sons – Chad (married to Tiffany), Brandon, Brock (married to Janet), and Chase, and the world's two cutest grandkids, Douglas Chad and Jordan Michelle. His passions for sports, music & Starbucks are well documented, but he insists they are not addictions.
