Local Missions

Local Missions at the Sea Island Campus of Seacoast Church exists to equip and empower Christ followers to meet the physical and spiritual needs of at-risk and struggling individuals in our community. In order to maximize impact, we have chosen to focus on building mutually life-transforming relationships. In addition, we seek to highlight opportunities to serve the community through a variety of other non-profits who embody the spirit of Matthew 25:35-36.

Feeding the Multitude

Feeding of the Multitude is a multi-church annual event held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The event serves Thanksgiving meals to anyone that wants to come from the Sea Islands. Entertainment and prayer is also provided. For more information on how to get involved, contact Mary Helen Swift at maryhelenswift@seacoast.org.

Hope Lodge

Hope Lodge is an American Cancer Society home that’s provides free, temporary housing for cancer patients and caregivers. A group from several Seacoast campuses serve a meal and then plays Bingo with the patients and caregivers monthly. For more information on how you can get involved contact Mary Helen Swift at maryhelenswift@seacoast.org.

Wadmalaw Senior Center Meals

The Wadmalaw Senior Center delivers meals 5 days a week to home bound and in need individuals. We have been given the opportunity to provide the food once a month for these individuals. We will be providing lunch for 50 individuals the second Thursday of each month. If you are interested in helping with this outreach (providing food, preparing food, or delivering the meals to the Senior Center), please email Mary Helen Swift at maryhelenswift@seacoast.org.
