Student Ministries Pastor
Irmo Campus | Columbia, SC
This position would report directly to the Campus Pastor. Primary responsibilities are: (1) develop, coordinate and lead a comprehensive ministry with a consistent discipleship strategy for middle school and high school youth; (2) help develop a strategy for each transition time from middle school to high school to college; (3) communicate, lead, and cast vision for excellent weekly worship experiences for student ministries; (4) review, develop and implement curriculum and training for spiritual growth and leadership development; (5) develop one-on-one and life group relationships to help them grow in their relationship with Christ; (6) build relationships with parents by communicating program plans and results through written and verbal communications including parent meetings when appropriate; (7) recruit, train, schedule and supervise employees and volunteers to achieve goals and grow in their relationship with Christ; (8) establish department goals and objectives by prioritizing related programs; managing the use of resources; planning an appropriate budget; delegating tasks; and holding people accountable for results; and (9) encourage teamwork, mutual respect & support, and spiritual leadership.
Skill/Ability/Knowledge Requirements are: (1) good interpersonal skills; (2) outstanding communication, leadership and vision casting skills; (3) calling to help students grow in their relationship with Christ; (4) demonstrated spiritual gifts to serve others within a team environment; (5) ability to recruit, lead and train students and volunteers; and (6) significant experience in leading student ministry – minimum five years preferred.
Children's Ministry Director
Irmo Campus | Columbia, SC
This position reports directly to the Campus Pastor. Primary responsibilities are: (1) recruit, train, motivate and grow a children’s ministry team of employees and volunteers; (2) partner with the Campus Pastor to develop an effective Children’s program that honors Christ and is consistent with the Seacoast mission; (3) effectively supervise weekly our educational ministry program and special events within budget; (4) encourage teamwork, mutual respect & support, and spiritual leadership; (5) partner with the Children’s Champion to communicate and follow IPOD; (5) identify and mentor one potential leader in Children’s ministry on a regular basis.
