In Acts 4:32-35 tell us that the believers in the early church were “one in heart and mind”. They were selfless as “no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own” but instead they “shared everything they had”. What a picture. A picture that paints what the church can look like as people give. Then the passage goes on to tell us what this community of believers looks like as a result of this selfish generosity, “there were no needy persons among them”.

We are living through a unique time in our history. A unique time that gives us the wonderful opportunity to live out this very picture here at Seacoast. A unique time that would call us to be an Acts 4 church.

We would like to invite you to be a part of the Acts 4 Fund. This will be a “super-fund” of financial resources set aside as we as a church sell our possessions, give generously and sacrifice for one another to make sure that there are “no needy persons among” us.

This fund will be used to share the resources of those in our church family who have been blessed with more than they need with those who have been hit the hardest during this time of economic uncertainty. Because of your generous support of this fund families will not lose their homes, electricity will continue to heat homes, children will get needed clothes and people’s lives will be changed. This will be family helping family. This will be the church being the Church. Most of all this will be the people of God being the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Acts 4 Fund. You can make a difference.
