When Jessica Serrão arrived in Charleston from Brazil, she was invited to Seacoast, and soon began attending regularly.
To immerse herself in the culture, and meet people, she began greeting people at the door, and when asked to translate, and train volunteers, she jumped at the opportunity to reach people in other cultures.
After four months of serving in the church, she started leading a small group. She can now say “I’m 100 percent sure you’ll find your family, and friends for life here.”
