Seacoast Church is committed to equipping the next generation of leaders and investing in their future.
SEU Seacoast is a partnership between Southeastern University and Seacoast Church. Southeastern University has partnered with Seacoast Church to host a regional campus at Seacoast Mount Pleasant and offer students accredited associate’s and bachelor’s degree options, with both day and evening classes available. With three areas of study to choose from, SEU Seacoast’s two or four-year programs allow students to learn in a community environment and experience hands-on training. After completion of the curriculum with Southeastern University, students will receive their associate’s or bachelor’s degrees. Learn more at seuseacoast.org.
SEU Seacoast Areas of Study
General Education Studies
What makes the SEU Seacoast Campus experience unique is the combination of academics with practical, valuable, hands-on learning. This enables students to gain a natural application of the studies they are learning in the classroom with a practitioner or leader of their given field. Through the general education studies, you will be enrolling in a degree program from Southeastern University.
School of Ministry
If God has placed a calling on your life to use your skills in a vocational ministry environment, then SEU Seacoast Campus can help you further develop in this area. While getting a degree from Southeastern University, you will be a part of practical hands-on learning experiences in ministry training in a variety of settings. Through the school of ministry, you have the opportunity to be a part of weekend service involvement, ongoing all-staff leadership training, planning and implementing local and foreign missions experiences, kids and student ministry, a variety of creative ministry areas, and ultimately finding an area at Seacoast or your local church where you can serve consistently. Our goal for your experience is to build you as a servant, grow you as a leader, and launch you into your future.
School of Worship
Leading others in worship is an incredible privilege. If you feel this calling on your life, SEU Seacoast Campus can help you take your next steps. The School of Worship at SEU Seacoast Campus trains students in the area of worship ministry. In this area of study, you will work alongside Seacoast Church staff and volunteers to learn about aspects of ministry pertaining to worship, weekly ministry needs, hands-on training in different worship areas, leadership classes, mentorship, and music training. A student will need to audition to be accepted into this practicum.
