Winter Warming Center

The Seacoast Warming Center exists to provide a warm, safe environment for our friends and neighbors experiencing homelessness, or who live without adequate heat, when temperatures drop at or below 35 degrees.

Serve

Our incredible volunteer team is what makes this pop-up facility possible! Each winter, we meet the needs of a temporary overnight warming environment that includes meals and a hot shower.

All shifts are considered “on-call” and are available from December 1 through March 1. The determination to open is made 48 hours in advance based on the projected forecast in Summerville, SC.

Adults ages 18 and older who want to serve during any shift must attend a training orientation PRIOR to volunteering on-site.
