Connect Weekend: Noah and Lauren’s Story

Noah and Lauren Davis understand the importance of finding a community, especially for military families. When military life began taking a serious toll on their marriage, Noah stepped back from active duty, and the couple moved back to Charleston.

After trying to do it on their own for a while, they realized they needed the support of others. Returning to Seacoast, they jumped into a small group, but quickly felt called to start one for military families. “We know there’s a need there, and we wanted to fill that void, and see if we could make a difference in people’s lives,” Lauren said.

Together, Noah and Lauren formed a small group for military families that provides couples with a safe place to be vulnerable, and have real conversations with other believers who understand life in the military.
