Returning Home

At Seacoast, part of our mission is to help people find God. Our attendees continue to imagine a future where we can offer as many opportunities as a person needs to join the family.

Last year, Ronel was diagnosed with breast cancer. With each passing day during chemotherapy, she spent many moments on her knees, gradually allowing God back into her life. Originally from South Africa, Ronel and her family have attended Seacoast since 2015, and this past spring, they took a huge step of faith—deciding to get baptized together. Surrounding the family in celebration were their local South African friends whom they met in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Although they all attend different churches, their friends made sure to be there to witness this huge step of faith for any believer.

Baptism is the public declaration of our faith in Christ and a symbol of our identification with his death and resurrection.

In 2016, Seacoast Church baptized 597 people across all of our campuses.

This is just one example of how we live our values every single day—to help people find God, grow their faith, discover their purpose and make a difference.
