God is doing something new, and his plans for us and his world are better than we could ask or imagine.
When the women found the empty tomb that first Easter morning, angels met them with an incredible question: “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” They might have thought to themselves, “because Jesus was dead.” The women didn’t expect to find the stone rolled away, they didn’t expect to see angels, and they certainly didn’t expect to hear that Jesus was alive. But God had done something that wasn’t just beyond their expectations, it was beyond their imagination.
