After 15 years with Young Life, Adam sensed a calling to serve the local church and was hired by Seacoast in 2012. With Masters degrees in Pastoral Counseling, Adam serves as the Pastor of Small Group and Counseling Ministries.

Chip is a graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Masters in Counseling. He has served for over 30 years as a pastor, marriage and family counselor, coach and consultant to leaders, teams, and organizations.

Founding Pastor

Greg Surratt is the founding pastor of Seacoast Church, which was planted with the goal of reaching unchurched people in the Charleston area. Greg led Seacoast as it grew from one campus to many, as Seacoast became one of the first churches to pioneer the multi-site approach to the weekend experience.

Jack Hoey Jr. began attending Seacoast Church in 1994, when it was a congregation of 400. He became board chair in 2002, and led the board until 2010 when, having sold his business, he was asked to join Seacoast as part-time CFO.

Jason has been a part of Seacoast Church since it launched in 1988. He helped the church grow to 12 campuses and was central in transforming their global missions efforts.

Jen Cameron

Jen Cameron

Pastor of Seacoast Children's Ministry

Jen and her family moved to Charleston in 2013 and joined the Seacoast staff in 2014 as an administrative assistant and Local Missions Director, helping launch Seacoast’s foster care initiative. She joined the Kidscoast team in 2015 and currently serves as the Kidscoast Director, where she has led a transformation of the Kidscoast ministry.

Jon has been involved in church ministry his whole life, with roles ranging from volunteer, intern, Middle & High School Pastor, and Executive team member. Jon and his wife Kelli have dedicated their lives to helping students find and follow Christ, preparing them for life and a lasting faith.

Josh began working at Seacoast Church in 2009 as the Mount Pleasant Campus Program Director for Kidscoast. Since then he has led the Connect and Creative Teams and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Central Ministries and Mount Pleasant Campus Pastor.

Kathy was raised in North Carolina and joined the Seacoast team in 2001. With 16 years of experience working at Seacoast, she has served in several roles, most recently as Director of Executive Administration.

Lisa learned the importance of serving others when she was still young, as her family moved to Charleston shortly after Hurricane Hugo, so that her parents could assist with relief efforts. She is now focused on serving full-time at Seacoast as the Director of Seacoast Culture.

Managing Director, Creative & Technology

Margaret joined Seacoast in October 2016 and currently serves as Managing Director of the Seacoast Creative team. She has over a decade of experience in political communications and brand strategy which includes leading teams responsible for national campaigns that leverage research, video, digital, social, and print to drive engagement and action.

Sam Lesky

Executive Pastor of Campus Operations

Shortly after being invited to Seacoast, Sam and his wife Joan joined a small group and committed their lives to Christ. Since 1998, Sam has served Seacoast in a variety of roles, including Small Group Pastor, Mount Pleasant Campus Pastor, and North Charleston Campus Pastor.

Tara Banks

Pastor of Seacoast Worship

Tara was raised outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and arrived in Charleston in 1992 to attend the College of Charleston. She started singing with the Seacoast worship team while in college and has since held several roles, including Worship Leader at the Mount Pleasant campus, Director of Seacoast Worship and now Worship Pastor, overseeing the worship for all twelve Seacoast campuses.
