Patrick Connelly , Campus Pastor
Patrick was born in Florence, SC and committed his life to Christ at the age of sixteen. He served four years in the Army as a Chaplain’s Assistant, including nine-months in Saudi Arabia during the first Persian Gulf War. Patrick has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and also an MBA in Management. Patrick served seven years as an officer and Regional Manager in a leading company in the automobile finance sector. Patrick first visited Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant in 1996 and soon noticed a feeling of “being at home.” He remembers an inspiring talk given by Pastor Greg in 1998 about what the future of Seacoast may look like. It was then that Patrick decided that he would love to be a part of that future. In February of 2004, Patrick and his wife, Kelley helped plant an ARC Church in Knoxville, TN. In June of 2005, Patrick relocated to Columbia with his company to re-establish their South Carolina operations. The Connelly family reunited with Seacoast via the Irmo Campus and immediately began serving. In 2008, Patrick was brought on Staff as the Assistant Campus Pastor and Student Ministries Director. In 2009 he was appointed to serve as the Campus Pastor at Columbia. Patrick and his lovely wife, Kelley, met in a Life Group while attending the Mt. Pleasant Campus and have three wonderful children, Patrick II, Madeline and Ryan. Patrick is passionate about helping people become all that God has created them to be. He is dedicated to using his skills and passions to lead people to become devoted Christ followers.
