About Josh
Josh grew up in Columbia and attended the University of South Carolina, where he met his wife Katie. After graduating with a degree in History and Secondary Education, he went on to obtain a Masters in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Formation from Columbia International University.
Josh served as the USC Campus Outreach Director for FCA before going on staff at Shandon Baptist Church as the Associate Youth Minister. He then served as the Youth Pastor at Lakewood Church in Columbia. Josh began working at Seacoast Church in 2009 as the Mount Pleasant Campus Program Director for Kidscoast. Since then he has led the Connect and Creative Teams, served as the Mount Pleasant Campus Pastor, and currently serves as the Executive Pastor of Seacoast Experience.
Josh and his wife, Katie, have seven children, AnnaJaye, Abigail, Abel, Asher, Ari, Anthem, and Adele (The A-Team). In his off-hours, Josh loves to work on home renovation projects, play rec league basketball, and spend time with the “A-Team.”
